If you are looking for that special place, with exceptional food & drink, friendly, professional wait staff, gorgeous landscaping & stunning water views, look no further than the restaurant at Alderbrook. I was fortunate enough to celebrate my birthday there today, thanks to my kids. Their brunch menu offered several vegetarian options. My choice was superb. Our waitress, who had started her employment at Alderbrook 7 years ago as a dishwasher, was exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable, & began our meal with a surprise appetizer, a yummy, little piece of cake-type bread. Food was delicious. Fresh, homemade English muffin & hollandaise sauce, crispy potatoes. And then I was gifted with a dish of ice cream, birthday treat. First time visit. Certainly not my last. This is a favorite of mine! The staff is very friendly, food is fresh and delicious, and the cocktails are superb! If you live in Mason County, ask about their Local Advantage program!!

Food was incredible and our service was so kind and attentive. When I handed her my USAA card, she clocked it and my Navy hoodie (the night before Veteran's Day!) and insisted on giving me a discount. It was a fine dining experience but we walked out of there with a very reasonable bill. Would definitely recommend for visitors in the area, whether they're staying at the resort or not.

Excellent breakfast! My fiance said it's the best breakfast he's ever had.I had the Crab Cake Benedict and he had the Olympic Sunrise Breakfast. The breakfast potatoes were garlicky and amazing! And he LOVED the breakfast sausage, which had a hint of sweetness from the maple syrup. We will be back!

Highly recommend Grand Marnier Tiger Prawns (Arugula / Fresh Citrus / Black Sesame / Grand Marnier Aioli) and Mushroom Toast (Pickled Mushrooms / Ricotta / Hot Honey / Radicchio / Grilled Baguette). On the other hand, it was just an okay with the crab cakes and ribeye steak, especially for such high prices ($47 and $67 in 2024), somehow kind of like the luxury resort and restaurant - mostly the atmosphere marking the value.

Fine dining is alive and well in Kitsap, and Alderbrook is one of the mainstays keeping that tradition alive along the Hood Canal. We came for brunch on a wintery Friday morning. While it isn't too hard to get a table in December, I'd strongly suggest reservations in the pleasant months. The service was top-tier. Upon seating we were immediately presented with a delectable (pumpkin?) bread plate - see photos. I had the salmon bagel and would have it again and again and again. Definitely add the avocado! Paired with a Rose wine, it was my favorite breakfast of 2024. We'll be coming back - there is much more on the menu I want to try! Olympic Otter

The Salmon Tagliatelle is the finest item of the winter lunch menu. Remarkable freshness and quality. The pasta is tender and handmade. The carrots and mushrooms add a lovely depth to the creamy sauce. The salmon on top literally melts in the mouth. Superb! Long live Hood Canal!
